Top 10 Artworks - 2021
Here's my top 10 fave artworks I have made this year!
10. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Thor's Hammer
Lara finding Thor's Hammer in Tomb Raider Underworld was an iconic moment in the series for sure! This artwork shows Lara with Thor's Hammer, belt & gauntlets. I was pleased with how I achieved the glowing effect of the gauntlets/belts & the contrast of the blue with the brown/black works well!
9. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Sophia Leigh 2021
Sophia Leigh remains one of my favourtie video game villains of all time. To celebrate Tomb Raider's 25th anniversary, I gave Sophia redesign! She looks very chic with the plunging neckline & green & white accessories. The background and foreground were repurposed photographs and I think they work well, but I'd like to try drawing more backgrounds!
8. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - A Survivor is Born
The 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider was an iconic moment in the series history! A younger Lara against the wilderness was a unique experience. This portrait represents Lara's journey - she's been through hell and back and is still in one piece! I enjoyed being able to add a higher level of detail to this portrait!
7. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Melissa Croft
Melissa Croft was a planned character for the Core version of Tomb Raider Anniversary. She is Lara's cousin, who has a similar interest in artefacts but has far less morals in regards to how she obtains them. This art was inspired by an initial concept of Melissa. I had the idea of Melissa finding all of Lara's artefacts in Croft Manor and having her fill! I really liked drawing not only Melissa, but all the artefacts & background! A shocked Lara at the window is a nice touch too! XD
6. Samurai Warriors 5 - Sena
Sena was my favourtie newcomer in Samurai Warriors 5! I loved her design and replicating the different textures in my fanart was challenging but fun!
5. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Venice
Tomb Raider 2 was my very first TR game! Venice is an iconic moment in the series, and I enjoyed recreating Bartoli's hideout! Drawing backgrounds and the details like the mines was a great way to realize the idea, and I need to do more of that with future artworks!
4. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Putai
The enigmatic Putai was a cut character from Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. She is a shaman who helped Lara recover after she barley escaped the Pyramid at the end of TR4. I really enjoyed drawing Putai and the extra details like the jewelry. I also think the background works well against Putai creating a nice mystical aesthetic.
3. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Reunion
Natla's return in Underworld is an awesome moment! I liked drawing Natla in her specimen jar, and adding the reflection of Lara on top of the image! It's a simple effect but it worked well!
2. Jak & Daxter - Maia
This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the Jak & Daxter series! Maia is my favourtie character in the series! I was inspired by Art Nouveau and gave Maia lovely flowing hair. I also love her sinister smile!
1. Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary - Morgau's Curse
My favourtie piece of this year! Morgau was a planned character for the Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness sequels. She is a Lux Veratatis like Kurtis, and has numerous powers. However, she requires different elixirs to keep her body running. As such, she has a Frankenstien's Monster aesthetic. I really love the various wires and cables connected to her, and her dramatic face really details the suffering shes experiencing.

10 Year Anniversary of Deviantart!
I honestly can't quite believe it! It has been a hell of a ride! DA has always been my outlet for my personal art and I have had a wonderful decade sharing my work with the world! Anyway I thought I would look back on my work and pick out my top 10!
10. EMO GAL - RE-VAMPED EDITION - May 17th, 2008 (Updated 2011)
Although the updated version, Emo Gal was the very first drawing I uploaded! She is quite simple but I like that her proportions are semi-realistic!
9. Stuck On Fuckin' You - January 1st, 2012
Inspired by the unreleased song of the same name by Lady Gaga, this piece was completely freehand and was only touched up digitally. I like the interpretation of the song in the image, with the fineline pen giving it a great texture and grime to it.
8.Angel - Elegance - August 14th, 2012
Having been a Tekken fan for years, I recall being super hyped for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 as it featured the return of many of my favourite characters including Angel! I utilized a Manga style of drawing for this image and I think she looks lovely.
7. 20 (Emo Gal 2 Revamped Edition) - September 13th, 2013
Another redrawing of Emo Gal, released on my 20th birthday! I always liked her pose in this which is both sexy and sassy. I also began to experiment a bit more with shading at this point!
6. SASSY Katarina - May 24th, 2015
Another indication of my love for the Tekken series, this time with the Tekken 7 newcomer Katarina! I had fun with her pose and facial expression, aiming to capture her sense of sass and cockyness. The background was a lot of fun, incorporating some of Katarina's own intro/winpose quotes, song lyrics, sassy sayings and a few rude words!
5. Lady Bianshi - April 15th, 2017
During the Hype for Dynasty Warriors 9, I discovered Dynasty Warriors Blast and numerous potential adds for future games. Many of the Blast designs were incredible and here is my drawing of one, Lady Bianshi. At this point I had acquired a drawing tablet and could really add loads more detail with ease! Her dress was a lot of fun to play around with and I think the shading is really starting to come along!
4. Tekken 7 - Kazumi Mishima - July 29th, 2017
More Tekken Fanart! This time Kazumi Mishima from Tekken 7. Like Bianshi, I was able to apply loads more detail to the costume and gave her a slightly altered look to her ingame version. The hair was inspired by Art nouveau, particularly the works of Alphonse Mucha.
3. Zhang Chunhua - Spiderwebs - September 12th, 2017
A more Manga style drawing of Zhang Chunhua. This was a bit simpler than previous drawing but I really like the shading of her dress. Again, my tablet helped be achieve a bit more detail in the shading and in her claw.
2. Scathach - October 31st, 2017
Released on Halloween, this scary witch (played by Lady Gaga) offered a lot of challenge due to her messy wild look. I am pleased with how I was able to interpret the character and that feral look to her, using my tablet to achieve the grubby, untamed look.
1. Elysium - Utopia of the Blessed - March 25th, 2018
A recent piece and one of my favourites this year. It was interesting playing around with the translucency of Elysium's mask and outfit, as well as achieving the heavenly background and sky. I enjoyed working on the little details as it brings the image together and shows Elysium in her angelic glory!
I am so happy to have been a part of this community for a whole decade and am excited to see what the future holds! While my activity on here may reduce in the future as I attempt to pursue my Art Career, I will always drop by and upload any fanart that I may create in the future!

Hi all! I've been on here for 6 years now!
When I first joined all those years ago I started doing rough little sketches and was still finding a style. My friend introduced me to some editing software and I began to update my works and experimented with my own style of drawing and realism. I like to think I have improved over the years but there is still a lot more I can learn! I have always found it relaxing to draw my favorite characters and discuss them with my fellow deviants!
I have selected 5 of my favorite works that I feel mark different stages in my work.
1. Emo Gal - She was the first piece I submitted and I have updated her over the years. I have kept her as a recurring figure in my work and I will continue to bring her back!
2. Glass Incarceration - This was an experimental piece where I scanned some broken glass into the computer and created this effect. It was interesting to see the result and I would definitely like to experiment further with art.
3. Icicles - A simple photo of some icicles growing in my aunt's back garden. I have always enjoyed photography and it was a lot of fun finding them!
4. Tekken Revolution Eliza - Fan art is the major focus of my gallery and the new girl Eliza from Tekken Revolution needed some art! This piece in particular marks a new direction for my work where I am trying to show a beautiful image with my own style.
5. Rachel Ooze Wallpaper - More fan art. My digital skill have come a long way and I am always excited to make more things digitally. This wallpaper is one of my favorites as it serves as a nice tribute to the character featured.
Its been a fun six years and I hope to have many more! Deviantart has helped me improve as an artist and I have interacted with some talented artists! I hope to improve further and enjoy deviantart for years to come!
